Recycling can be done free of charge as long as you are happy with overall recycling and wipe certificates rather than individual ones. If you have less than our minimum quota and need to have your e-waste recycled urgently there will be a collection charge. If the collection is not urgent, we can schedule your collection with other smaller collections in your area to keep it free of charge. Free 3 or 7 pass wipe of storage media – no individual wipe certificates provided. If you require individual wipe certificates, please contact us for a quote.

Data Destruction:

We know how valuable your data is so we offer a number of ways to remove it from your equipment before it gets recycled. You can purchase a wipe certificate for each working computer, laptop or server with a NIST or seven pass US Department of Defence rated wiping algorithm. This can capture data such as your business name and details about the computer being wiped such as make, model and serial number. This is ideal for those companies that have auditing procedures. You can also opt for high energy degaussing of mechanical drives, data tapes and even floppy discs which can be done on-site or off-site and renders the device inoperable as well as destroying any data contained. We can also offer physical destruction of your data storage devices such as mechanical hard drives, solid state drives, CD’s, USB sticks, data tapes and floppy discs. If you or your company require any of these services, please contact us for an obligation free quote.

Six reasons why your organisation should recycle

  1. Environmental Conservation:

Recycling computer equipment significantly reduces the environmental impact caused by electronic waste. By properly disposing of old or obsolete equipment, we can prevent hazardous substances such as lead, mercury, and cadmium from polluting the environment and potentially harming human and animal health.

  1. Regulatory Compliance:

Compliance with environmental regulations is crucial for businesses today. Recycling computer equipment helps you stay in line with various laws and regulations related to waste management and electronic goods disposal. By partnering with us, you can ensure that your organisation meets its regulatory obligations and ISO accreditations.

  1. Data Security:

Securely managing sensitive data is a top priority for all our clients. When you recycle computer equipment, it's essential to work with a trusted partner who can ensure data security. Our company employs industry-leading data destruction methods, such as hard drive wiping using NIST and US Department of Defence wiping protocols, degaussing or physical destruction, to protect your confidential information.

  1. Social Responsibility and Reputation:

Demonstrating a commitment to environmental responsibility is not only good for the planet but also enhances your organisation's reputation. By participating in computer equipment recycling programs, you show your dedication to sustainability, which can resonate positively with your customers, partners and employees.

  1. Resource Conservation:

Many components of computer equipment, such as precious metals and rare earth elements, can be recovered and reused through recycling processes. By recycling, you contribute to the conservation of natural resources, reduce the need for new raw materials, and lessen the ecological impact of mining and extraction activities.

  1. Access to Refurbished Equipment:

Through computer equipment recycling programs, your organisation gains access to high-quality refurbished equipment at a fraction of the cost of new devices. This allows you to upgrade or expand your IT infrastructure without straining your budget. It can also provide low-cost computer equipment to those in need in our community.
